At today’s PC Gaming Show 2025, Vancouver’s Buffalo Buffalo announced that their game, Fresh Tracks, will be released this summer. It’s coming to PC, Xbox Series and PS5.
Fresh Tracks is described as being “a non-stop music-driven adventure,” which combines skiing and music with roguelite action and narrative moments.
“Jump, dodge, and fight to the rhythm of the gods in this thrilling music-action game on skis. As the protagonist, Skaii, players begin their journey gliding through a beautiful snow-covered forest to the beat of an ethereal pop soundtrack, an Aurora shimmering overhead. Soon, however, the path diverges, and players must navigate increasing obstacles and fight off menacing minions as they delve deeper into the darkness that has befallen the land of Norwyn. As Skaii conquers each new trail, players unlock new abilities, new divine companions, and 28 tracks of irresistible original music.”
Fresh Tracks will feature varied music and a notable cast, including Peter Stormare, Michael Antonakos, Ian Hanlin, Ceara Morgana and Bethany Brown.
