Earlier today, Electronic Arts shared gameplay footage from Battlefield 6 during their promised reveal event. Through it, we saw a game that seems to have more of a focus on destruction and snappy gameplay, and learned details pertaining to its contents.
Here are some of the things we now know:
- Nine maps at launch
- The ability to drag downed soldiers
- Classes are back, meaning you can be an Assault, Recon, Support and Engineer soldier
- Launch modes will include Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush, Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Domination, and King of the Hill
- New mode called Escalation, which funnels players towards a big battle at the end
- Portal is returning with a new UI and better customization options
- New movement mechanics, including a forward roll
- A $70 USD price tag as opposed to $80, but the better edition will still cost $100.
- Will eventually have a battle royale mode
Battlefield 6 will enlist on October 10th, but will begin its public beta testing next week.
