Saber Interactive reveals Stuntman: Hollywood

Shockingly, the Stuntman series is making its return, while also going West at the same time.

During this evening’s PlayStation State of Play, Saber Interactive surprised us by revealing Stuntman: Hollywood. It’ll be the third game in the long running series, which began life on PlayStation 2 and hasn’t been heard from in years.

This time around, players will be able to remake stunts from their favourite NBC Universal franchises, such as Back to the Future, Miami Vice, Night Rider and Fast and Furious.

This series holds a special place in my heart, although the original game stands as one of my most frustrating gaming experiences. I remember buying it as a teen, and spending 4.5 hours trying the same late game stunt over and over again until I got it, over the course of one early summer morning. I eventually beat it, but I know of one person who got so mad he threw his rented copy at the wall — something I never found funny or smart.

I bought the second game when it came out, but admittedly never got playing it, outside of its demo.

Stuntman: Hollywood is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
