During today’s festivities, NC announced that their open-world MMO, AION 2, will begin its tenure in September. When it does, it’ll be available on Steam and Purple.
“AION 2’s core experience is built around something few MMOs attempt at scale: full freedom of flight as a combat system, not as a traversal feature. Players don’t just move through Atreia, they fight, fall, and rise through it. Its fast-paced combat melds precision, timing, and positioning with traditional tab-targeting into a dynamic, modern combat experience. AION 2 brings a deep set of PvE content ranging from solo and four-player dungeons to eight-player raids, where the core gameplay experience is based on mastering the game mechanics, movement, and teamwork.”
