Red Barrels is cordially inviting fans of The Outlast Trials, and horror games in general, to Season 5.1 of the multiplayer title. Entitled The Advent of Bogomolva, it adds a new ambush predator in the form of holy huntress, Sister Liliya. She’s come to visit from the luxurious Resort, and will now hide in the background of every trial, waiting to pounce on unsuspecting Reagents.
Season 5.1 also introduces:
- A ‘Recover the Amulet’ variator
- A limited time catalogue
- Event tokens to earn and spend until March 10th
- Two new MK challenges (Eliminate the Legacy and Flatten the Foreman)
- Two new Routine Therapies (Deadlock: Security Lockdown, from March 10-17, and Burnout: Fire and Ice Protocol, from March 17-24.)
To celebrate The Outlast Trials’ second anniversary, the game’s creators are also offering players gifts, in the form of exclusive rewards for completing tasks.
