Every year, Nintendo holds their E3 Press Conference at the Nokia Theatre the morning of E3’s opening day. This year, that day is June 11th, and while there won’t be a press conference at the venue, Nintendo will be hosting a Nintendo Direct video of their announcements.
The video will go up early Tuesday morning, at 7 am Pacific time, presumably so that the event at the Nokia Theatre for retailers and the early hands-on at the convention centre for media is predicated with something.
We expect the video to last right around an hour or so. Nintendo’s events usually go on for just over an hour, but without the need to wait for people to walk around on stage, formal in-person introductions, weird skits, or stage transformations, the presentation should be relatively succinct but still packed with lots of games.
Expect to hear more about The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, the new Mario and Mario Kart titles, as well as Super Smash Bros., Yoshi, Sonic, and a ton of other games, both announced and unannounced.
We’ll keep you posted, and of course, we’ll have the rundown on everything in the presentation as it happens!
