Video Games Live returning to LA at E3 2014

With under two months to go until E3 2014, we were getting a bit worried that it would be the second year in a row without Tommy Tallarico and his insanely popular Video Games Live orchestra to dazzle us.

Fear not, the act is returning to their space at the Nokia Theatre on June 11th, right in the middle of E3 2014, with a brand new show and a ton of special guests!

Confirmed guests include Austin Wintory (Journey), Russell Brower and Jason Hayes (Blizzard), Garry Schymann (BioShock), and Halo and Destiny composer Marty O’Donnell, among many others.

There are also a bunch of new pieces including the world premiere of the music from Cave Story, a video game tribute band called Critical Hit, and a new world premiere from Blizzard, which we can only guess is music from the Warlords of Draenor expansion to World of Warcraft, especially given Russell Brower’s presence.

You can buy tickets to the show now, and if you use the password WONDER, you’ll get priority seating, though the code will only work through the next few days.

In the mean time, be sure to pop over to the event’s official Facebook page and show your support for the show by grabbing your tickets now! We’ll see you at the show!
