We knew there would be Halo news at Gamescom this week, but we had no idea that Microsoft would be announcing an entire channel to the franchise.

On Xbox One and Windows, beginning this Fall, the Halo Channel launches free of charge, as a completely new way to be immersed in all things Halo.

Powered by Twitch, the service will include tons of information on Halo: Nightfall, the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta, every game in the upcoming Master Chief Collection, as well as documentaries, interactive videos, and SmartGlass support.

We can’t wait to see more of this all-encompassing Halo everything-hub, and we’ll certainly be reviewing it when it launches alongside Halo: The Master Chief Collection in November.
