The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game is now available for purchase

This is a big day for fans of LEGO NINJAGO, as not only is the movie now in theatres, but the game that complements it has also been released. As such, kids (and those who are children at heart) can see the characters kick butt on the big screen then bring the action home with them in interactive form.

With new, powerful combat moves, players can jump into the action with adrenaline pumping fighting sequences that let them jump higher, kick harder, swing further and defy gravity to conquer their enemies. Players can master the art of Ninja-gility by running on walls, high-jumping and battling foes of NINJAGO to rank up and upgrade the ninja’s combat skills, and traverse across NINJAGO Island fluidly with parkour-like moves. The new combat moves include Rushing Boar, a dash attack to bridge the gap between characters, Floating Butterfly, a jump lunge attack that allows the ninja to leap and attack from above, Swooping Hawk, a jump slam attack, and Stinging Bee, a flurry of very fast strikes.

As they progress their combat skills and abilities, they will also be able to master the art of Spinjitzu – battling their way through waves of enemies with new combat techniques, maneuvers and skills, as well as elemental powers and upgradeable weapons unique to each Ninja. Players can combine all of them through the game.

The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game features eight large, action-packed, open locations based on the movie story, as well as iconic locations and characters from the LEGO NINJAGO TV series. From NINJAGO City, to the jungles of NINJAGO Island, each location includes a host of hidden secrets to collect, as well as its own unique Challenge Dojo where players can put their combat skills to the test, earning high scores and battling with increasingly tougher enemies. In addition, the game features Battle Maps that allow players to go up against their friends and family in three different game modes with competitive split-screen local gameplay for up to four players.
