South Park: The Fractured but Whole has gone gold

Through a creatively hilarious trailer, Ubisoft has confirmed that South Park: The Fractured but Whole has officially gone gold. As such, fans of the show and its video game history (especially the masterpiece that was The Stick of Truth) can rejoice, knowing that this sequel is on track to meet its October release date.

The trailer — which is shorter than the ones we previously received — centres upon Sea-Man and his right hand sidekick, who come across a fish who’s searching for his family. After offering to help, they then find themselves ascending towards heaven, where they come across another fish that just so happens to be riding a unicorn in Flappy Bird fashion.

Needless to say, it’s well worth the watch.

Expect to be able to play South Park: The Fractured but Whole on October 17th. Make sure to check back, too, as we’ll have a thoroughly detailed review of the game for you.
