Ubisoft invites Canadian gamers to tour Ancient Egypt with Assassin’s Creed: Origins

Assassin’s Creed is back following a brief hiatus, and is about to send us on a stealthy journey through the sands, tombs and pyramids of beautiful Ancient Egypt.

To celebrate, and to pay tribute to the game’s incredibly rich setting, Ubisoft Canada is inviting gamers to tour its landscapes, constructs and waterways. Thus, folks can now head online and book their own virtual tours, with each one lasting approximately five minutes in length. Spots are limited, and will only be available from today until October 25th, so act fast if you’re interested.

Offering three different tours (Mysteries of the Ancient Kingdom, Into the Nile and Extreme Egypt), this promotion will allow those with interest to explore some of the region’s most interesting facets, while being guided along by someone who’s studied their ins and outs. These five minute tours can also be shared, as guests will be able to save up to three, five second long videos, which can then be shared on social media using the #ExploreAncientEgypt hashtag.

What, exactly, each of these tours will cover is listed below:

Mysteries of the Ancient Kingdom – enter the bowels of the Egyptian tombs before anyone else.
Into the Nile – discover the impressive and dangerous wildlife of Ancient Egypt on foot, horseback, and by boat.
Extreme Egypt – brave sandstorms, slide down the Great Pyramid, and dive into the mighty Nile.

Adding incentive is the fact that those who take part in this promotion will be entered to win cool prizes, including the much anticipated and talked about Xbox One X.

Stay tuned for our review of Assassin’s Creed: Origins, which will be published around launch.
