New Far Cry 5 trailer introduces guns for hire

Taking on a dangerous and well armed cult isn’t an easy task, nor is it for the faint of heart. As such, you’ll want to take advantage of friends with special skills as you shoot, explode and run your way through Far Cry 5‘s version of backwoods Montana.

Today’s trailer for Ubisoft’s upcoming shooter introduces the colourful cast of characters who will risk their digital lives in order to help put an end to said cult. There’s the pilot who’s fighting for his wife and child, with his ability to drop bombs and rain fire from above; the helicopter specialist whose weapons carry tons of ammunition; a female hunter who’s great with a crossbow and isn’t bothered by wild animals; an accurate sniper who can kill from afar; Scout, the good boy dog who’s been seen in multiple trailers, and series regular Hurk, who comes packing a big ass rocket launcher. Each one has his or her special abilities, not to mention a unique weapon or two with which they can provide deadly assistance. Hell, they also have their own perks, like some of the ones mentioned above, as well as Hurk’s extra powerful rockets that do additional damage to vehicles and Scout’s ability to fetch weapons.
