MOTHERGUNSHIP has set its coordinates for a summer 2018 release

The fight against the MOTHERGUNSHIP and its data hoarding machines will commence this summer, when Joe Mirabello unleashes his spiritual successor to Tower of Guns. Mixing the bullet hell and first-person shooter genres together, it allows players to craft, create and customize their own weapons.

Your end goal may involve taking down the MOTHERGUNSHIP, but you’ll need to do battle with her mechanical fleet of protectors first. They’re responsible for creating all of the robots that you’ll face along the way, and for insulating the rather exaggerated, skull-shaped spaceship from attack.

Release-wise, all we know is that MOTHERGUNSHIP will launch sometime this summer, and that it will bring its bullet and robot-filled mayhem to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
