Microsoft was ‘hacked’ during its E3 press conference, and those responsible go by the name of CD Projekt Red. Of course, this was all a stunt that set up the world premiere E3 trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, the Witcher developer’s futuristic RPG.
Featuring a Ready, Player One kind of vibe, this introduction to the world of Cyberpunk 2077 presents a city with lots of issues. The rate of violence is sky high, people are living in questionable conditions and those running the show seem to be up to no good. Yet, for whatever reason, people remain drawn to the place due to promises and all of the futuristic technology they can handle.
Needless to say, this is a game that stands out and will be worth keeping our eyes on. It has the potential to be great.
