Bethesda wasted little time in announcing a brand new expansion for Fallout 76, called Wastelanders. In doing so, they promised that the add-on will “fundamentally change the game.”
Wastelanders will add a full, new quest line, human NPCs and spoken dialogue trees. Its narrative will be focused upon people returning to Appalachia to reclaim the wasteland.
Fallout 76 will incorporate Wastelanders this fall, and will do so without any additional fee. It will be free of charge for all players. Continuing on in the vein of free things, the whole game will be receiving a free trial this coming week.
