Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled will offer free seasonal content to all purchasers

This morning, Activision confirmed that Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, Beenox’s upcoming remake of the beloved 90s kart racer, will offer free seasonal content. What does this mean, exactly? Well, as they revealed in a video and then through a press release, the game will occasionally hold Grand Prix events that will offer new tracks, unlockable characters, karts and various customization options.

The first of these Grand Prix events will start on July 3rd, at which point folks who buy the game will be given a free track called Twilight Tour. Set in the Middle East, Twilight Tour is a course that is said to send players on an epic journey through the desert by day and by night. This track will be joined by a new unlockable character named Tawna, while members of Nitro Squad (formerly known as the Trophy Girls) will become available during the first in-game season.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled will bring 90s kart racing to modern consoles on June 21st.
