Yes, IO Interactive is back with a new location for Hitman 2, this one being the first of its expansion pass offerings. As you’ve already read, it will take the form of New York, and will do so through a brand new story mission called The Bank (Golden Handshake). That isn’t all that will be on offer through this additional purchase, as new contracts mode, challenges, unlocks, achievements/trophies and other types of content are also promised. In fact, there will also be a new Mastery Progression system, a unique double-breasted trench coat and a customized Bartoli 12G shotgun, which can be carried over into other missions.
The Hitman 2 Expansion Pass — which includes Expansion Pack 1 and Expansion Pack 2 — can be purchased for $39.99 USD. Of course, it’s also a part of the game’s $99.99 Gold Edition. This particular New York stage will be released through it tomorrow.
