Although Cloud Strife is one of the most iconic and well known characters in video game history, not everyone knows who he is. To address this, and re-introduce people to the main protagonist in one of the greatest interactive narratives ever crafted, Square Enix has released a Cloud-centric trailer for the Final Fantasy VII Remake. It debuted at tonight’s Video Game Awards, and offers folks another look at the visually stunning game.
Of course, it’s important to note that this trailer is CG, as opposed to something showcasing more gameplay. Still, it’s well worth watching, and is unsurprisingly very easy on the eyes.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake will release early next year.
