It’s true: A new Test Drive Unlimited game is in the works, and will be published by Nacon.
They’re calling it Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown.
This new entry in what is a beloved series will attempt to stay true to what made the other games so popular. As such, fans can expect to be able to drive around a 1:1 island and build up their characters. It’s also likely that social elements will once again factor in.
Those who enter this fast-paced and idyllic setting will find themselves competing in the Solar Crown. It’s been described as being a tournament with mysterious stakes, and acts as the backdrop and driving force of this experience.
KT Racing is behind this project, and as mentioned above, Nacon (formerly BigBen) will publish. These are the folks behind the WRC series.
