Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning to release this fall, receive new expansion

The cult classic 38 Studios RPG, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning has its remastered edition leaked before the team behind the project was ready to talk about it. Now, after a bit of passed time, the development team has provided detailed information, including a release date.

As such, we now know that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will be released on the eighth of September. That, as well as the fact that the game will receive a new expansion called Fatesworn, although we will have to wait until 2021 to play it.

The standard edition of this remaster will set you back $39.99 (USD), and will include all previous releases content, except for the Mass Effect 3 tie-in stuff. At least, that’s what seems to be the case. Meanwhile, those with interest can purchase the $54.99 Fate Edition to guarantee themselves access to the new expansion when it launches. Those with lots of expendable income, or immense love for this (great) game can also opt to fork over $109.99 for the collector’s edition, which includes a figure, a keychain, five pieces of original artwork, Grant Kirkhope’s award winning soundtrack and a ‘high quality collector’s box.’

Alas, here’s your first look at this updated cult classic:
