A new Mario sports game is in the works for Nintendo’s Switch, and it’s called Mario Golf: Super Rush.
Revealed during the latest Nintendo Direct, Super Rush aims to revitalize the aging arcade sports series with new modes, motion controls and even a campaign. This is good news for those of us who grew up with the Game Boy Color and Advance versions of the Mario sports games, as their campaigns were quite interesting, addictive and enjoyable. This writer has a lot of great memories, and tons of nostalgia, tied up with the campaign found in Mario Tennis for Game Boy Color, in particular.
It’s hard to believe, but Mario Golf: Super Rush will mark the series’ first time on home consoles since 2003! It will apparently do this on the 25th of June.
