It was only a matter of time before Sony announced something to do with remastered versions of the Uncharted games for PlayStation 5. What’s a little bit surprising, though, is that only the two most recent titles are involved.
Announced during today’s PlayStation Showcase, the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will bundle updated versions of both Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: Lost Legacy. The pair will make the jump from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, where it’s expected they’ll offer improved lighting, more realistic animations and the like.
What we don’t know is whether those who own the PS4 versions of these games will have to pay for them all over again. Stay tuned for news relating to that.
The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will bring its two adventures to PlayStation 5 sometime in early 2022. It’s also coming to PC, which is surprising news.
