Criterion and Electronic Arts have released a new gameplay trailer for December’s Need for Speed: Unbound, which covers more than what we were shown last time.
In this new look at the upcoming and anticipated racer, the spotlight is on the risks and rewards that make up a large part of the experience. This includes building up heat, which results in visceral police chases, as well as making side bets on your performances. You’ll need to make bets, and essentially put your money where your mouth is, in order to get to where you want to be: atop the podium in Lakeshore’s ultimate showdown: The Grand. This will be easier said than done, though, and you’ll need to outrun police, pull off drifts, win races and perform well in order to win money.
Need for Speed: Unbound is coming to Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and PC on December 2nd. It promises 4K resolution at 60 frames-per-second, as well as a garage with more than 140 cars to choose from.
