Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 gets a surprise demo drop

We knew that Activision planned to release a preorder demo for the much anticipated Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 remakes. We just didn’t know when that would happen.

Well, that demo is now live, thanks to a surprise drop during today’s Xbox Showcase event.

As of today, those who’ve preordered the game can skate to their heart’s content in two fully realized stages from the remakes, those being Foundry and College. It’s the first time we’ve been able to visit those levels in decades, apart from those who still regularly game on ‘retro’ consoles.

Also, those who preordered the Deluxe Edition can already skate as the promised Doomslayer.

Please note, though, that the demo isn’t available on Switch yet.

This surprise drop isn’t just a taste of what’s coming — it’s packed with perks:

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Pre-order Perks:

  • Early Access: Hit the full game 3 days early (before the July 11 launch)
  • Doom Slayer Access: Play as The Doom Slayer in the demo
  • Wireframe Tony Hawk Shader: Throw it back with a techy retro look

Digital Deluxe Edition Also Includes:

  • Playable Skaters: Skate as The Doom Slayer and The Revenant — each with 2 secret moves
  • Exclusive Outfits: Two fire looks for The Doom Slayer
  • Unmaykr Hoverboard: A wild new deck that’s built to rip
  • Extra Soundtrack Bangers: New tracks added to the already-stacked playlist
  • Exclusive Decks & Gear: Custom boards and themed items for The Doom Slayer, The Revenant, and Create-a-Skater
  • Themed Create-a-Skater Items: Personalize your rider with exclusive gear

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 will return on July 11th. Check out its very early launch trailer below:
