ID@Xbox Recap [4.22.26]

We already shared quite a bit of what was revealed during today’s ID@Xbox indie showcase. Here’s a recap of the rest:

  • Vaporworld: Over the Mind, an upcoming Souls-like platformer, received a new trailer. A demo will be released in June.
  • Mistfall Hunter, a dark fantasy extraction RPG for up to four players, showed off a new map.
  • Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions is a new entry in the Astroneer series. Watch today’s trailer to get an idea of the strange worlds you’ll explore.
  • A new trailer for Aphelion showcases the frozen environments we will explore, and the monsters we will face in this sci-fi adventure game.
  • Lofsong is a very interesting looking exploration game where players are guided by sound, resonance and a strange origami companion.
  • Vampire Survivors: The Turbo Wildcard is now available on Xbox Series and Game Pass.
  • Tears of Metal is a medieval hack-and-slash game with roguelike elements, and cooperative play. Hack your way through numerous enemies with friends.
  • Crashout Crew is a game in which players work together with friends, in order to fill increasingly difficult boxes, using psychics based gameplay. This one is releasing on May 28th.
  • RV There Yet? received a new trailer, whine showcased some of the chaos that can arise in the co-op game about travelling in a recreational vehicle. It’s coming out in May too.
  • Get a glimpse at some of the puzzles found in Escape Academy 2: Back to School — a game about escape rooms.
  • Totopia, the free-to-play party game, has received a new trailer.
  • Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive is a new action game based on the webtoon of the same name. It’s out now on PC (Steam) and is coming to Xbox and PS5.
  • Deep Dish Dungeon — a survival and puzzle game wherein players navigate handcrafted dungeons — received a new trailer.
  • Beastro, the upcoming cooking/roguelike/RPG game received a new trailer. It’s coming out on May 21st.
  • inKONBINI is a slice of life game about running a small convenience store in Japan. Expect this one on April 30th.
  • The folks behind Kalanoro — a new action/adventure IP, where players team up with crazy lemurs and go on an adventure — shared a colourful reveal trailer.
  • See the new trailer for Screenbound; a dual-world action adventure game wherein a 2D handheld game and the 3D world around it coexist. We control both while playing.
  • Invincible VS got a lengthy deep dive trailer that’s all about its story mode.
  • There Are No Ghosts at the Grand received a three minute long official trailer, offering a good look at the title.
  • Save My Wife got a new trailer, providing its release date.

Xbox also ditched its Microsoft Gaming moniker, and rebranded as only Xbox. They did this by posting a blog post, and revealing a new logo.
