Fans of arcade basketball, or the sport in general, will be interested to hear that NBA: The Run now has a release date. It also just received a Deluxe Edition, which will be $39.99 USD (ten dollars more than the Standard Edition), but will feature three additional unlocked playable characters.
Those are:
- Stephen Curry: Golden State Warriors ‘09 rookie variant
- Luca Doncic: Dallas Mavericks ‘18 rookie variant
- Kevin Durant: Seattle Supersonics ‘07 rookie variant
The Deluxe Edition also offers 100 CRED. That’s the in-game currency used to purchase things like alternate jerseys, dunk animations, badges, banners and more.
NBA: The Run will be released on the 9th of June, for PS5, Xbox Series and Steam. A beta playtest will run this Saturday, May 16th, from 10am-2pm on Steam.
