Ubisoft shared that it has been working on a modern day remake of Heroes of Might and Magic III. It’s being developed in China, and is expected to be released in 2027, for XBOX Series, PlayStation 5, PC and Ubisoft Connect.
Rebuilt from the ground up using the Snowdrop Engine, Heroes of Might and Magic III Remake ditched the original’s fixed 2D perspective for a highly detailed 3D world and better camera control. However, it will still retain the classic turn-based strategy, RPG progression and tactical grid combat. Of course, those things will be updated and improved on, too.
