A Good Day to Die Hard

So we’ve known about this one for a while, but it had to be shared. It looks like the Die Hard franchise is actually getting a little more intricate in storylines with the fifth entry in the series, A Good Day to Die Hard.

Not one to take itself too seriously, Bruce Willis’ new tagline for the movie is “Yippee-Ki-Yay Mother Russia,” a slight change from the usual (slightly more vulgar) version we all know.

Perhaps the most important thing in a Die Hard film is the action sequences and the inclusion of raw, unnecessary deaths and explosions for no other reason than to have raw, unnecessary deaths and explosions. This film (or at least the trailer we’ve seen) delivers. The film has some pretty incredible action sequences as far as we can tell and manages to bring McClane’s son into the mix in an interesting twist.

The trailer (see it below) starts out as a very slow, simple, Bourne-like movie. It then of course evolves (very quickly) into guns, explosions, and more guns. Oh, and this:

We know. We’re excited, too.

So without further ado, take a look at the trailer for A Good Day to Die Hard below and catch the film when it launches on Valentine’s Day 2013. You know, because it’s such a romantic movie.
