The first full-length trailer for Jason Bourne, due out this July, has been released, and while it is action-packed, is actually light on details about Matt Damon’s latest adventure.

Returning as titular character Jason Bourne, Damon is seemingly still the character who finally remembers everything and is tired of being chased and followed. The film seems to use a lot of material from The Bourne Ultimatum, which itself seemed to reuse a lot of material from The Bourne Supremacy, the second film in the original trilogy.

This movie takes place in some different cities in the US–Las Vegas and Washington DC–as well as London and Athens, Greece, the latter of which is where Bourne and Nicolette Parsons (Julia Stiles) are using a protest in front of the Greek Parliament as cover. It’s another idea we’ve seen before, also in The Bourne Supremacy.

With Bourne still being one of our favourite franchises of all time, we are hopeful but have tempered our expectations based on what we’ve seen so far.

Regardless of how the movie turns out, we’ll have the fully declassified review when the movie hits theatres on July 29 this Summer.
