Much has been said about Ghost Recon: Wildlands‘ PVP mode, Ghost Wars. All of that talk has lead up to one day — today — as Ubisoft has just announced that the (free) multiplayer engagement has gone live through the game’s latest update.
Given the series’ history of great multiplayer modes and devoted fan bases, it’s no surprise that Ubisoft chose to add a PVP component to Wildlands. It was, really, the only thing that the game was missing, even though it offered a very deep, open world campaign from the get-go. One that also allowed for cooperative play with friends.
Along with Ghost Wars, Update 8 brings some technical fixes to the game. This includes reduced campaign lag, thanks to the addition of new relay servers that the publisher has set-up.
