Vampyr is progressing well, and DONTNOD wants to invite fans into its development process. They’ve done this by releasing the first in a planned series of behind-the-scenes developer diaries, which will not only provide a look behind the curtain, but also offer some insight into the game, its 1918 London setting and its doctor-turned-creature-of-the-night protagonist.
Embedded below is Episode 1: “Making Monsters,” which centres upon main character Jonathan Reid. This short but interesting featurette will then be followed by three more, five minute-long episodes, all of which will be released on Thursdays. Thus, fans of DONTNOD’s previous efforts (Remember Me and Life is Strange), and those who happen to be new to their work, can look forward to a new behind-the-scenes video each of the next three weeks.
The Nosferatu and Dracula inspired Vampyr will be released sometime this spring.
