Call of Duty: Modern Warfare gets a free access weekend

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, while in self-isolation or simply while staying home as per government orders, you may find the following of interest. That is, the fact that Activision has announced a free play weekend for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘s multiplayer mode.

Based on what the press release says, players will be able to access Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer content through the Warzone lobby, although an additional download may be required. It says to either head to the ‘Atlas Superstore’ or ‘Shoot House 24/7′ playlists, to be able to play shoot ’em ups on those two original maps. In true moshpit style, you’ll have the ability to play a variety of team-based modes, including Team Deathmatch, Domination and Hardpoint.

This free weekend begins today, April 3rd, at 10am Pacific Standard Time. It will end on April 6th.
