A Quiet Place films to receive video game tie-in

Coming out of nowhere is news that A Quiet Place will receive a video game tie-in sometime next year.

In development at Montreal-based iLLOGIKA, the Saber Interactive published title promises to be a “terrifying new video game,” which will feature mechanics that will take advantage of the films’ uniqueness. As such, we can likely expect a good amount of stealth, to have to worry about how much noise we’re making and things like that. What we do know, though, is that this will be an all-new story set within the films’ universe.

“The A Quiet Place video game will let fans experience the tension of the films with a level of immersion they’ve never felt before,” said creative director Herve Sliwa.

“The amazing success of the A Quiet Place movies makes it clear audiences are hungry for more adventures in this universe, and iLLOGIKA is creating their own truly engaging experience that lives up to the name of this beloved property,” continues Saber Interactive’s Todd Hollenshead. “We are proud to say that A Quiet Place is the first game we will be releasing by an external studio from the growing Saber publishing label.”
