As Never Alone brings its beautiful storytelling and immersive gameplay to Nintendo Switch, there are hints of a sequel being in development. Hell, there’s even a teaser for Never Alone 2 inside the port’s launch trailer.

A 2014 puzzle platformer, it is based on the Inupiak tale of Kunuuksaayuka, and was developed in partnership with the Cook Inlet Tribal Council. It follows a young girl and her fox companion, as they traverse dangerous Arctic conditions over eight chapters (and additional DLC, which is included in this Switch edition.)
In fact, Never Alone was so important and memorable that it was recently immortalized in the Smithsonian.
