Forza Horizon 5 gets game-wide sign language support

Playground Games and Xbox have taken their commitment to accessibility to yet another level by introducing American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) into Forza Horizon 5.

The hit driving experience now has sign language overlays built in to cutscenes and important moments in the game.

In the near-eight minute video, we’re shown why ASL and BSL are not just physical forms of English, and how they’re actually their own language. It was important to Playground to incorporate it properly and seamlessly, to add true accessibility, not just a last-minute addition to the game.

ASL and BSL support will be available in over 300 cinematics in Forza Horizon 5 starting on March 1, 2022 via a content update to the game.
